| John Schabron Named University of Wyoming Outstanding Alumni(2) |
On May 21, the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences honored Western Research Institute (WRI) Principal Scientist John Schabron with its Outstanding Alumni Award. The announcement in the spring 2011 issue of A&S Report magazine said, “Known worldwide for his studies in heavy petroleum, shale oils, and coal liquids, John Schabron’s enthusiasm for research and professional projects is the cornerstone of his success.” John earned his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Wyoming in 1978.
