Jeramie Adams PETROPHASE 2022 Keynote Speaker on Petroleum & Energy Transition
WRI's Vice President for Asphalt & Petroleum Technology has been selected to be a keynote speaker at the PETROPHASE 2022 Conference, June 12-16, 2022 in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia.
Jeramie is managing the Asphalt and Petroleum Technologies group working on projects dealing with carbon materials, chemical modification of coal (carbon ore) and other undervalued feedstocks to produce high value materials, upcycling of waste materials such as resinous composites (wind turbine blades and carbon fiber) and plastics for asphalt additives. Upcycling of waste and modification of undervalued resources are key to helping industry meet their circular economy goals. Traditional activities in the Asphalt and Petroleum technology group are still ongoing in the areas of paving and roofing asphalt characterization, and petroleum characterization and processing.
